Shaped by Water
Kentucky Appalachian Artisan Center
Hindman, Kentucky

Shaped by Water is a group that is making a promise to the past and to the future of our waterways. Using the arts as a vehicle, we will work to promote awareness of our waterways--their beauty and their fragility--to help people reconnect to their rivers and creeks, to claim them, become responsible for them, to love them.

Where: Hindman, KY
When: November 1, 2003, Saturday 10 a.m. till 4 p.m.
What: Shaped by Water conference/workshop and the delivery of your Shaped by Water (art, verse, video, story) for the November Show!
See details below!

Shaped by Water Conference/Workshop

This will be a great opportunity to learn about Troublesome Creek, walk along the bank, create work, read a short story/poem by James Still and document and write about your Shaped by Water project. The Presenters are:
Pat Banks - Watercolor Artist
Anne Sunderman - Outreach Director of the Kentucky Waterways Alliance
